Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Uniform

At Oasis Academy Silvertown we place great emphasis on pride in our community. A visible indication of this is in the standard of student uniform. Many visitors have commented on how smartly presented our students are. We want to ensure that all students, whilst wearing their academy uniform, are maintaining a professional appearance, both in school and outside in the community.

To ensure that all students are aptly prepared each September, we ask that you read the following information very carefully, and make sure that your son or daughter has the correct uniform for starting their next academic year.

Mobile phones and other equipment at Oasis Academy Silvertown

We would also like to emphasize our policy on mobile phones at Oasis Silvertown.  Whilst we understand that you may wish for your child to have a mobile phone, students will not be permitted to use their mobile phones during the academy day. Any mobile phone that is seen during academy hours will be confiscated and students will serve a 45-minute detention at the end of the day. We would also need parents to come and pick up the confiscated phone at the end of the day.

As we advise students not to bring their phones into school, the Academy will not be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to their phones. If students insist on bringing a phone, it must be switched off and left in their bag until the end of the academy day.
